“I am excited for the opportunity to work as the Master Teacher Fellow this summer”, says Carla.

“It is my hope that while serving in my new position at the Museum I will be able to continue integrating subject matter while creating a strong focus on high school level students and their teachers so that they will feel that the Saint Louis Art Museum is theirs.”

The Master Teacher Summer Fellowship is a four-week fellowship for St. Louis area educators of all grade levels and disciplines. During the month of July, the fellow develops a variety of object-based learning projects and teacher workshops based on the Museum’s collection.
